Art and Conversation: The Art of Israel
Explore the history of Israel through art, from King Solomon’s Temple and ancient Jewish catacombs to synagogue mosaics and the establishment of the modern State of Israel. Enjoy a fascinating slideshow of powerful artworks and artists, accompanied by engaging narration that brings Israel’s history and culture to life. Presented by Jewish Art Education, an organization dedicated to exploring the connection between Jewish visual arts and Jewish civilization. Peter Margolis, a Jewish history scholar and educator, is a member of JAE’s Speakers Bureau and spent 12 formative years in Israel.
