‘What War Zone,’ The Comedy of Benji Lovitt

In celebration of Lag Ba'Omer, Benji presents a hilarious picture of Israel by deconstructing cultural differences and the immigrant experience in Israel. Benji's energy and enthusiasm will make you laugh out loud as he sheds light on embarrassing Hebrew mistakes, Jewish holidays, and exactly what makes Diaspora and Israeli Jews different from each other.

Shabbat de Mayo

Join MJCCA Intown for a fun Cinco de Mayo themed Shabbat dinner! Celebrate Shabbat with other young Intown families in a festive and casual way. Chips, salsa, and pitchers of margaritas will be provided. Families are responsible for purchasing their own dinners. RSVPs are required and seats are limited.

East Cobb/Roswell Interfaith Family Picnic

Join MJCCA, InterfaithFamily-Atlanta, Etz Chaim Congregation and Honeymoon Israel for a picnic and lots of fun at Riverside Park. Bring your own picnic lunch and we will supply the fun. Enjoy sun, lawn games, arts and crafts, and more!

Bring your children to enjoy a Shabbat-related activity in the MJCCA Srochi Discovery Center followed by songs and blessings with Rabbi Glusman and a visit from the Weinstein School Shabbat Dinosaur. Challah and grape juice will be served.

Shabbat at the Park

Join us for a free monthly Shabbat dinner for young adults in the heart of Buckhead at the Garden Hills Rec Center. Street parking will be available. This program is limited to the first 40 people to RSVP.

Learn different techniques and a variety of recipes. Your friends and family will be impressed when you make homemade challah for your next Shabbat dinner. Additionally, learn what to do with your challah leftovers!

Whether it’s fresh fruit and olive from Sicily or rustic flavors from a Tuscan village, Italian cooking is as varied as the country it comes from. We will be making pistachio orange salad, sweet potato gnocchi with broccolini, roasted zucchini and hazelnut truffles for dessert.
