Name of Program: Jewish Mindful Meditation

Details: Encountering challenges and inter-personal conflict in life is part of the human condition. Using Jewish teachings, we will practice meeting each moment with an open heart and mind. You will develop practices of noticing your experience, your thoughts, and your emotions while being more in touch with your body. Together, we will explore techniques to create a sustainable, ongoing mindfulness meditation practice.

Details: Bring your children to enjoy a Shabbat-related activity and story in the MJCCA Srochi Discovery Center with PJ Library followed by songs and blessings with Rabbi Glusman and a visit from the Weinstein School Shabbat Dinosaur. Challah and grape juice will be served.

Name: Purim Family Concert & Carnival

Name: Mother-Son Masquerade Dance

Details: The Mother-Son Masquerade Dance is for boys and their 'date:' mom, stepmom, grandma, aunt, older sister or other female relative. Dress up in your favorite Purim costume and join us for prizes, dinner, and dancing.

Details: Join us for Beau/Sweetheart dance where teens will be able to vote on their chapter's beau or sweetheart while enjoying dancing and fun! This will be a dance unlike any dance you have attended! You don't need to be a BBYO member to attend.

Details: Everyone is keeping a look out for painted rocks wherever they go. We will provide all the supplies (rocks included), so that we can start our own painted rocks expedition! We will paint our rocks and then learn some tips and tricks about hiding and finding painted rocks of your own!

Name: FurKids Dog Shelter

Where: Furkids Animal Rescue (2650 Pleasantdale Road, Atlanta)
Who: Grades 6-12; Open to the community
Cost: Free
Details: The Furkids no-kill dog shelter houses up to 40 dogs that need walking, bathing, and quality interaction with humans. Make a difference and spend some time with the shelter dogs. Teens will earn 2 community service hours. A $5 donation (cash or check) is encouraged for each volunteer. Pre-registration is required as there are limited spaces.

Details: Just like on TV, you'll compete against your fellow chefs in a race against the clock to create dishes with our basket of mystery ingredients. You'll present your finished product to a panel of judges to see who has the bragging rights of being named Chopping champion! Don't miss out on this fun and interactive cooking experience.

Details: Families with children (8 & Under) and their older siblings are invited to the Children's Museum of Atlanta for a full afternoon of Passover-themed art, music, science, and reading activities!
