Company J at the MJCCA Continues its 2012-2013 Season With the Classic Musical, Fiddler on the Roof

Company J at the MJCCA continues its season of theater classics with one of the most popular Broadway musicals in history, Fiddler on the Roof. Written by Joseph Stein, with lyrics and music by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, Fiddler on the Roof runs January 19 – February 3, 2013. The production will take place at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta's (MJCCA) Morris and Rae Frank Theatre (5342 Tilly Mill Road in Dunwoody). Based on the stories of Sholem Alecheim, Fiddler on the Roof is the beloved tale of Tevye the milkman, his wife Golde and their daughters, and Tevye's struggle to hold on to tradition in the face of a changing world. Director Brian Kimmel oversees this timeless musical, which includes favorite musical theater numbers Sunrise, Sunset; To Life; If I Were A Rich Man; Matchmaker, and many more.

*Sensory-Friendly Performance (January 27 at 5:00 pm) – This performance is designed to create a theater experience that is welcoming to families and friends with children or adults on the autism spectrum or other sensitivity issues.
**Sing Along Performance (February 3 at 10:00 am) – This performance is karaoke on a grand scale, but don't worry if you're not sure of all the words. Lyrics will appear on the screen to make sure you don't fall behind.
